LEARNING LOG 5

After reading the notes on unseen, I have learn a lot. There were two parts to the unseen notes, the first section was on unseen poems while the second section was on unseen essays. Hence, I would like to start out with unseen poems first.

Approaching an unseen poem may be easy if we follow the right steps such as reading the poem carefully, underlining the keywords in the poem and planning the answers before writing down the answers etc. However, if we do not follow the steps and act rashly such as making general statements without explaining, we are most likely unable to get the marks. Therefore, its best to read carefully and fully understand the poem before answering the questions. There are also ways to organise your answer when answering questions on poems such as using the PEEL method which consist of Point, Elaboration, Evidence and Link.

Secondly, unlike unseen poem, unseen essays not only want students to analysis the text given in detail but also express their ideas coherently and persuasively. Therefore, in order to do well in this section, there must be the introduction, the body which consist of the point, evidence, elaboration and personal response and lastly, the conclusion when answering the questions on the essay. We must also have a clear awareness of the given text's meaning, a logical interpretation of the text and a detailed evaluation of the text and lastly insightful respond to the text to be able to analysis well.

LITERATURE LOG 4

from the macbeth performance,i had many new experiences and had also learn about many important values like teamwork etc. I think it is really fun and interesting as we get to see many performances from other groups and we ourselves get to enjoy the proccess of preparing the props and practicing the scripts. At the same time, although the real performance did not came out as good as how we praticed, it was still exciting as we put in a lot of effort and that it was still a fruitful experience. After this macbeth performance, i am very much looking forward to the next performance, which is Romeo and Juliet as i am looking forward for new experiences and learning new things. i think being able to perform is a great opportunity to boost one's confidence and acting skills.

Lastly, the comments i have for the performance is that it was totally awesome, and it totally rocks!

LITERATURE LOG 3

Predictions are often made by people, sometimes its for fun, sometimes its just base on their six sense. But not all predictions are always real, sometimes predictions could be misleading and turn to be untrue or a prank . Hence, from this lesson on predictions , i have learn that some predictions could be real while sometimes it just a joke made. You never know, therefore, just because someone tells you something like you will forget to bring your spectacles etc , it does not always means that it will be true. So in my opinion, feeling depressed or happy just because someone predicted something good or bad will happened to you is not advisable as it may all just turn out to be a false alarm. But sometimes, we people will still tend to get carried away and believe certain predictions either made by fortune tellers or own six sense.

While for the lesson, i think that it is already really fun , so i think that suggestions is not needed as the lessons are already awesome ! But having more lessons on acting will definitely be much more interesting and we will also get to improve more on our acting.

LITERATURE LOG 2

LEARN !
in the superstitions lesson, i learn that there are many beliefs & myths in different race & countries. Some may be scientifically prove that its real, while other may just be rumours... You will never know ~ :D . therefore, i really had lots of fun ! while during the act 1 scene 1 of macbeth, i have learn more about how to act properly & the purposes of different starts in story . for instance, in macbeth, by using 3 witches to start the play, its shows thar the end of the story may be case of murder or other disaters happening. :D

the lesson is really fun especially with group works & having different people to be pick out to try acting different scene. Also, having some games while learining is cool and intersting too.

the lesson would be better is we have games , other than that , its okays ! :D

LEARN !

After the lesson, i have learn lots of things . Most importantly , i learnhow to write a new type of poem. Not only is cinquain interesting , it is also really unique in its own way as there are specific ways to write cinquain. I have also learn that writing a poem is not as wasy as its seems. Although cinquain may only consist of a few words, its really challenging looking for words that best suit the topic or subject. But on the bright side, writing a cinquain is fun too , especially with friends.

i think it is a really good idea letting us work in group as not only will we get ti mix around with different people, our work can be done more efficient as well. And there will be more ideas too. at the same time, we will get more comfortable with new classmates, last but not least, have fun while doing groupworks abd respecting others idea/opinion. Hopefully, we will have more groupworks in the future .

SUGGESTIONS !

in my opinion, increaing the time limit for us will do us much help as we will have more time to discuss and design our work.
